This is mainly addressed to those that have already landed and have dealt with a Province DMV.
So, I know that this has been discussed in the past, but half say that for applying a DL, one needs a Stamped DL Extract issued from the Home country/state DL issuing authority. The other half say that an International Driving Permit is what is needed to apply for a DL in Canada, and bypass the Learners stage. The info on Alberta DMV is not very clear, it says that one needs an International Driving permit that captures and translates the info on the DL. The Driving Extract also does the same thing, it translates the info on the DL.
So, can someone who has dealt with a Province DMV, please tell me what their experience was. Thank you so much.
Hi Everybody,
I have filed FSW application on June 2014. CIO requests for medical submission on first week of Jun 2015. I did not attach PCC and good conduct certificate during the application filing. Most of the case CIC asks MR,PCC,RPRF together. In my case CIO only requested ‘medical’. Can I submit PCC and RPRF without requesting?
Get the help of a good immigration lawyer, let him/her do a worded letter to let them know the reason for the mistake and that it is not to hide anything or for misrepresentation. So many people on the forum made this mistake geniunely not knowing that the schedule A form was changed at a particular time and the question on visa refusal was included.
Be courageous and take action immediately and be prayerful too and by the grace of God almighty this will not be the end of your Canadian dream IJMN (amen).

Dear All,
Recently I have received below communication from Colombo visa office. Although I have mentioned my previous visits to other countries clearly but some I overlooked the clause for visa refusal.
VO has given me 30 days to provide the justification for same, Can someone please help me how to proceed?
This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
Subsection 40(1)(a) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act 2001 states that a foreign national is inadmissible for misrepresentation for directly or indirectly misrepresenting or withholding material facts relating to a relevant matter that induces or could induce an error in the administration of this Act. Paragraph 40(2)(a) specifies that the foreign national continues to be inadmissible for misrepresentation for a period of five years following, in the case of a determination outside Canada, a final determination of inadmissibility under subsection (1).
In September 2014 you and your spouse completed Schedule A applications declaring that you have never been refused a visa to Canada or any other country. You declared these applications to be truthful, complete and correct. However we have information that you, your spouse and your son were refused Non Immigrant Visas.
I will allow you 30 days to address this concern. At the end of this time period I will make a decision on your application with or without a response.
Hi Friends,
I am planning to fly to Toronto in August. I intend to apply for a driving license there. I have an Indian Driving License. The Ontario transport department portal states that we need to submit a letter along with the original driving license to apply for a G license.
Just wanted to know if some one has got an experience letter issued from any RTO in India. If you can share the same on email. Pls confirm.
I am sharing my experience. I got letter of NOC from RTO. I presented to the Ontario Drivers License office. They permitted me to write G1 test and I passed. They issues G1 License and restricted not to drive and but can drive with experienced driver only. Then I applied for Road Test G2 License and was failed 2 times (100$). I took own vehicle.
I suggest to use Driver Training Institute car and go for Road Test assuming to pass.
They are not looking at whether we drive, but looking skills like, Fast/Slow, Parking, Scanning outside, etc.
The site http://www.drivetest.ca/EN/Pages/default.aspx gives all information.
