Anybody else here who had to take extension and now the application is stuck.. Mine has been stuck for the past 4 months now without any movement. Had to apply for extension because FBI PPC was delayed but its been 4 months since I submitted the PCC but no change in status...

my ECAS's second line has changed; previously it was, "we started processing your application on 30 jan 2015", now it reads, "we started processing your application on 31 dec 2014"

Received MR on oct 1st. completed medicals on 7th Oct. medicals receive by NDVO (courier) on 12th Oct. RPRF paid by DD for me and spouse. now the wait begins again

Hi aarti, why did you pay fees by DD?...Was it not mentioned in your MR email that RPRF to be paid on-line using a link and DD or Cheque are not acceptable, as was in my case.

In my mail they have specifically given two options of paying . one is the online method and other is DD payable to High commission of canada and acceptable in INR (Indian rupees) only. I do not have a credit card and would not want to depend on other persons credit card hence paid through DD. Even in the CIC website it is clearly stated that you can pay through DD but its country specific. so may be the VO in your country are not accepting DD.

Surprisingly, the end date on the entry visa is 6 months from now, thought it was going to be 1 year. The date is even before the date I went for medical.

I applied as a Civil Engineer on 26 September 2014 from Pakistan. Currently, my ECAS status shows two lines;
1. We received your application .... 26 Sep 2014.
2. We started processing your application on 31 Dec 2014.
I came to Dubai on a 3 month visit visa on 6 Nov 2015. my question is; should I inform CIC about this? if so, what documents should i upload along with my notification as proof?
