my friend , its absolutely normal, as you pay your fee online it will generate slip that has one transaction number and name mentioned on the card from which you paid your fee.
you just have to send that slip to your visa office along with other things they asked for..

hi guys, how long will it take to get back the passport from NDVO after visa stamping.

It takes anywhere between 5 days to 20 days to receive the PP from NDVO. For my case it took 12 days, including the submission date.

Friends, i need your urgent help!

Couple of days back i received the Passport Request Letter.

In that it is mentioned: "Please provide passports or travel documents for yourself and each accompanying dependant, along with a copy of this letter, to the visa office in New Delhi. Please see the VFS Visa Application Centre (India) website for details on how to transmit your passports to the Canadian High Commission: http://www.vfsglobal.ca/Canada/India/."

i called up the customer service line of VFS and the lady said that i need to go by myself to New Delhi to submit my passport as it is mentioned there. Now i am from Calcutta and i am not sure if i have to do this.

Please help ASAP

My colombo visa office asked me to forward it to a mail id, which i did. should i send a physical copy of the receipt to Colombo as well ?
