I have not yet heard from CIC, My application is dated 19 Aug 2014 and reached on 22 nd Aug, but neither my credit card is charged. How should i get to know. Please respond anybody. I send for code 2173 and also what is ecas. How to get it and what is it for. Please help.
I check my status on ECSA. I have UCI because I am in Canada as TWP and strangly It says: IN PROCESS
I check two weeks ago and the system could not find me.
My application reached CIC August 14.
DD encached on November 18 as per my bank.
No PER received yes.
Is this "IN PROCESS" means I am in????
Is this a good sign?

If you have not applied previously for any type of visa than you will have to wait for PER.
If you have ever applied for visa that you will have it and UCI does not change ever.

Hi Amro - same situation as me.....did you click on 'in progress'. In my case, when I click on 'in progress' , I can see new page with point "1- we have received your application for permanent residence on [x] august'. By the way, I have still not received PER yet (representing through agent).
Same as mine abc90..
My ecas shows >>> In process>>> We received your application xxxxxxx...
We havn't received our golden per mail..
Is this sign of Positive eligibility for us?

hey ksa...thanks...I hope I will get email in due course. Actually, I obtained my UCI # last night after convincing woman on call center that I am unable to get any update and one of her colleague (I spoke to that dude 3 days ago and he mentioned my details were on the system) already gave me some hint....I will hold this information till my consultant confirms official receipt of PER by email....thank you and good luck to you and everyone else on this forum ...
