After a long long wait and almost lost my hope and when I reluctantly logged in ECAS..not expecting anything.....just now IST 11:50 pm....i have some news to share....it shows the 2nd line....i dont know when it got changed....
We started processing ur application on December 30th.....

Sorry to say but I am confused. ??? Is landing fee different than the RPRF. If yes, when r we suppose to make the DD for landing fee, and what is its amount?
Just to clarify, what people call as the landing fee is actually the RPRF fee. So you are good to go with either 490 CAD or 28900 in INR payable at New Delhi..
Is it possible for me to write to CIC? My application reached on October 30th so it is almost 65 days (9 weeks) as of today. It is my consultant’s email they incorporated in the form so will they reply me if I write from my personal email address? If yes what all are the details I should incorporate when sending them an email. I don’t have UCI number yet. Please guide…..
1) I advise to wait for a week or two
2) if you have your consultant's id than it is better to send CSE from that ID
3) in mail you write your full name, passport no, NOC, date of receipt of application at cic, receptiont name, your DOB, your full address, payment details, secondary applicant;s name

Very good news to share....Got Medical request, RPRF, and passport request just now....Due date of 02/22/14 (my son's birthday), but I did not get any forms :'(.

Can you please clarify if everyone is receiving the Request for Medical, Passport, and Police clearance certificate at the same time? And when we get the request for Police clearance, do we get a deadline before which we have to send the police clearance certificates? and what happens if we are NOT able to send the certificates before that defined deadline.
Hi, If you get all the simultaneous request (usually we get like this) for PCC, MR, passport at the same time then no worries. It's medical which we have to go through with in 60 days' time else visa may be refused. Once CVO receives your medicals they update the E-CAS with "Medicals received." Then you have plenty of time to submit your pcc and passport (but together, not once passport and then pcc) as no matter after medicals whenever you submit your remaining docs together, your visa will remain valid for 1 year from the date of medicals. Better is quickly submit docs so that you get plenty of time to plan out your travel and ticket purchase, etc. so that you dont have to buy tickets costly and in a hurry. If you fail to submit your docs in 1 years time then you have to again go through with medicals then only you will receive visa. All the best
