Thanks Vats ..I know we should show necessary funds against our name during the visa process ( $13,801 in my case). Do we need to show the amount through out the entire process? Also, I hope the whole process takes around 1 year and that means the funds should remain for this period of time. Is this right?
I will regularly post my questions/doubts here. I hope the members here would help me
Hello raks,
I agree with Vats. No need to waste your money to any consultant/agent. All help is available here and you can do it yourself and in much better way. For IELTS i would say, the sooner u appear for the test the better. And make sure you appear for the General Training module. You have to manage simultaneous gathering of various documents. And send your ECA within the next few days because that is going to take time. Read your country specific requirements carefully on WES website.
That's right. For now you need to show that at the time of submission of application you have greater that or equal to $13,801 in the form of bank statement and bank reference letter. Later when your file is transferred to the concerned visa office the officer assessing your case may ask for a renewed statement. At that time also your final balance should be in excess of the minimum specified on CIC website.

this is the minimum fund requirement
keep some higher amount considering $ to rs conversion rate change
Guys, a quick question..I am going to avail partner points with my spouse's IELTS. Is it required to get the transcript (of marks) of both partners or only the primary applicant's? Thanks!
Check Check list point no 13
you need to submit for principal applicant and spouse both
it is educaiton documents which contain secondary marksheet, degree certi and marksheets (not trancript)

Have you ever studied the current job market in Canada for civil /structural engineers. Which province is suitable for our profession. As few of us already got PER and for sure remaining will be getting soon, It would be nice if we share whatever information we have. I think our goal in not only get PR.. should be PR with decent life and for that we need a better job.

there are many job (i checked for bridge design engineer as Its my current role) available, again it all depends upon their requirement on experience and qualification (as many time they didnt consider our education or experience)
but anyhow we can get moderate/entry level job easily in our own proffession
I do not think i will make up to the CAP as already till may the count is 885. I have given IELTS and waiting for result. However, I am thinking can i apply for "quebec skilled worker immigration" instead of FSW as there are very little chances that I will make it to the overall CAP.

dont think like this
see NOC 1112, 2147 & 2174 are hot nocs and quontom of that three is more than 600 in total cap, after that 3 got limit of 300 the globle figure will not rais this much fast
do not worry about that
