I am new to this forum. I tried to search for the foreign work experience requirements but without much success.
My case is as follows-:
I am an Electronics Engineer (B.E.) working in IT company for past six plus years. I have total of 9 years experience together in IT. AS I read from the points calculator, you need to have 6+ years of exp. to get max points in the work foreign experience category.
My question, how can I show that I have actual experience for the category? When I searched on the internet, I found that the employer has to provide a letter with my roles and responsibilities. What if, in case my employer is ready to provide a document showing only my employment duration within the company but not the roles and responsibilities in that letter.
So can someone help me on how I can establish my experience in the category (NOC 2174)? Are there any other methods to prove it?

Apply , and attach letter from employer, and on covering letter to CIC / CHC state your JD.
If your get passing points , they will contact your employer for verification
Hello- same is the case with me..and I am wondering what you did? i would really really appreciate if you can help me in the solution here. I have a letter which doesnt have roles and responsibilities in that along with number of hours I worked. Please reply!
