Longest time ever for 5 yrs? Mine was 8 yrs and a few months shy of 9 yrs. Applied in May 2001, processing started June 2001. Medical Nov 08.Visa issued October 2009.Landed October before medical expires. I had a very lousy officer until he was changed.So you see, the experience was not funny.
