to ur question in trackkit, if u got ur CSQ in montreal, i would say ur "priority procesing" didn't do shit! cuz it took u almost 18 months to get the CSQ,, that's too long! and for the federal stage, i heard different stories, some say "priority procesing" can indeed speed up ur case, others say "priority procesing" means nothing.
Guys, I would like to notify Buffalo about my new phone number. When they sent AOR and medicals, there was a change of address Notice which I could fill and fax. But I just need to let them know of my new phone number. Let me know how I can notify them.
Update: Still waiting for "medical received" ecas update! My DMO said they sent it on December 15th. Should I wait before I email them, since there was holidays between? what do u suggest?
Hello,
I am new to this forum, I wondered if anybody has any info on how the new procedure is supposed to work. I have sent my file to Sydney, NS but I dont know how what happens now?
If anybody has any info I would be very grateful.

I just received a passport request from Detroit last Monday 01/16/2012 , which is a week after I faxed them my marriage certificate and a copy of my wife's canadian passport. I applied under CSQ.
In the request, they said not to send the passport if i got married or divorced since last correspondance (what is that mean)?
I faxed them the marriage certificate a week before they emailed me the passport request.
In the form that I received with the passport request, they want me to fill out spouse's info.
Congrats man, you brought hope to me 'coz we received Medical Results update on the same day, so I hope I'm very close. I would suggest you send them an email through the case-specific-inquiry tool: https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=buffalo
They usually answer in two days or so and they should be able to access your file and answer your question.
Good luck !
I just found out that my E-cas changed to "medicals received" some days ago. When I clicked on the "Application received" link, I saw the update. All this while, I was looking for a "medicals received" link below "Application received"., so thought my status was not updated.
