If theydont say mail specifically on the request it is sent online. Check gckey. There should be an option to upload there. If not, submit through ircc webform

Yes, they do send a confirmation. After I sent my schedule A through the webform I got an almost instant email notification thanking for contacting IRCC etc (just a generic notification) and then about 10 days later they sent me another email acknowledging me that they received my Schedule A and forwarded that info to the appropriate office.

in my case, when i used the webform to provide extra information, i just saw the "Success" message on the web form but i never received any automatic email confirmation.
