How long Ankara takes to issue PR VISA?

Does anyone know how long it takes Ankara visa office to issue a PR visa?

The reason I am asking is that, once passport request stage reaches, I would like to take my own passport there & submit it to the VO personally.

I have a question.... I got thru to CIC once and asked about updating my passport to current name.... told her I was worried wouldn’t have it back when it was requested. She laughed and said they won’t need my passport since American!?

Yes, America is a visa-exempt country so when you get a Passport request, you will be asked for a photocopy of your passport, not the original. Sometimes you won't even be asked for it, they'll just use what you sent in originally and you'll get a COPR right away.

Looking at the excel sheet, I see someone has got a "Passport Request" in Feb. It makes you feel good when you see a progress in someone's application.
