Honestly, I do not think it matters. The Homemaker option is there more likely due to "political correctness".

I'm Canadian sponsor living in USA, PA is American citizen in USA. We submitted the new checklist and included background form and police form. We sent application by Fedex to Missasauga.

Yes it is possible. What date was the application delivered?

Regardless everyone in Feb will most likely get their AOR by next week. So wait for a week and then call in.

So, is there no such thing as an AOR1 for the PA? I thought PA will get her own unique UCI # to use with GCKey account.

PA gets an email as well. It comes with a pdf document (automated system-generated letter) of AOR and inviting them to link the application.

AOR: Mar 30th (sponsor), Apr 5th (PA)
Medical request: Apr 4th
Medical completed: Apr 6th
SA: Apr 6th

26th Feb here. No update so far

Mine and my spouse's email both got the initial AOR from CIC.

I can understand how you must be feeling. We ourselves were a nervous wreck until the AOR email. Stay strong!
