Did anyone recently call CIC? what excuses are they giving for not sending AOR, since now May applicants have started receiving AORs.

Now there excuse is " Every applicant's application is different and please do not compare your application with others"

I know in the past, CIC has updated “app received” and “in-processing” update at the same time on ecas.
I believe in any case, March, April and May applicants may not get a test invite before you guys. So hang in tight, you will soon hear some good news!

So I have my application delivered on Feb 10th and I haven't received AOR yet. Nowadays, they are giving AORs to March/April applicants. When IRCC resumes the citizenship tests, is it going to be based on the AOR date or application delivery date?

If it is the AOR date, I will have to wait for applicants of march and April to get the citizenship test date.

Each application is unique and independent from others. There are people who got AOR a bit late, but got invited for test sooner. It all depends on individual file circumstances and background checks.

There are people who got AOR fairly quickly, but had to wait for a year for test due to security checks and fingerprints. There are all sorts of examples.

But usually the order we have observed in this forum is based on the application received date not AOR date. Good luck!

Could it be possible they are holding on to files to return them for those who applied in Feb and didn't receive AOR ? Most probably for incomplete files .
