With AOR only last month surely it's too early to request GCMS notes?

I was thinking of waiting until my status bar got to 40% or even 50%...

Currently it's only at 20%

2 draws were conducted in the last few days. If they are not processing applications, why would they conduct them.

Agreed. But still. They need processing. That means these guys are indeed working atm.

I had emailed CIC and recieved the below response:

We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

• The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,
  • you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.
• The security background verification has not been initiated.
• The criminal background verification is currently valid.
• The medical examination results on file are valid.

Does "valid" mean complete in this context?

An Application moves to the next stage only and only when it says “Passed” . Rest all these stages
1. Valid
2. Recommended Passed
3. Met
signifies that someone Senior needs to review it before marking it pass.
You will probably get a Ghost Update and your medical status shows Passed.
