For this question there are two answer.
1. Some people received by Email
2. Some people received by Canada post

now the advise for you: please call call-center and ask you haven't received the letter so they might will tell you how you will get or how sooner you will get. Is good to call ASAP because it might give one month to complete your FP.

Thanks! I just called CIC and the agent was able to confirm that it is a FP request and I will be receiving letters in the mailbox for it. Thanks for your time buddy

Finger prints requested on 23 July 2018 for me and my spouse as well. Still waiting for the correspondence to arrive in the mail as call centre confirmed that it is fp request but sent out via mail not email. Thanks

Was this a made up time line. You got AOR before the application was received.

Not sure what you mean but the dates are correct.

I got the email AOR - March 12, 2018.
And the online status was - "Application Received" on March 13, 2018.

Received the Citizenship Test invitation Yesterday July 24th. 2018; Test Date is on August 22nd' 2018;
Applied on - Feb 2nd 2018 from Vancouver BC

Hello! I just wanted to provide an update to the spreadsheet:

I received my AOR on Mar 12, 2018 and I just checked that they started processing my application on May 8, 2018. I sent my application from Toronto on Feb 5, 2018 and it was received on Feb 9, 2018.

I am still awaiting the test invite letter.

Can someone please update this in the google doc? Thx.
