It will be fine. They will match the initial of your father's name with the one on the application. They are not stupid.
the birth certificate is an official document so it will be fine.
Can someone please let me know how to get USA PCC from India ? I searched and couldn't find in this forum much details. Also am not sure where can i go for fingerprints as am in Hyderabad and how much time it take to get PCC from USA to INdia.
Also one more question, i heard once we are asked for PCC by emailo then can we scan and reply to the email which we received or we need to send originals only?
Please let me know details on how to get USA PCC from Hyderabad,India. I already sent my package and planning to send upfront PCC if possible to save sometime.
Did anyone need to get fingerprints taken? It wasn't part of the checklist but someone I know sent them when he applied in 2011.
The fingerprints can be done by yourself, but if I were you, I would go to your closest police station and they could do them for you.
Just follow the instructions. You can download the forms and have it done. It will take about 6 weeks for the US authority to process your application. After the 6 weeks of receiving your application, you can contact them to know whether there is any issue or everything was fine. Then, by the 6 and 7 week, they will deliver it to you. The total will be 18 us dollars. Everything is explained online step by step.
Google... Submitting a Criminal History Summary Request to the FBI
and follow the instructions
You HAVE to SUBMIT your Original PC. Email is a waste of time because that doesn't grant that you have not criminal records.
Regards
Do we need original NOA or is it ok if we print NOA from CRA my account and send it with file. It is kind of original and legitimate as well. Does that work???

Also wanted to ask - I still haven't received my T4 and NOA. I started working in Jan 2013 and completed the requirement in Jan 2014. I've sent in all my pay stubs, contracts, bank statements and reference letters. Has an application ever been returned due to missing NOA/T4 or can they be sent in later?

Just send it when you get it. Did you included explanation letter that you will send NOA/T4 when it is available?
Yeah I did. I sent in a letter saying I'll send those documents as and when I receive them.

Just a question: is the NOA always needed?

If you have it, send it.
If you don't have it, wait for it and then send it.
Just do what the document checklist asks you to do.

Yes it is.
The NOA is not a requirement as long as you have the employer letter.
From Documents check list:
You must provide proof of qualifying work experience, including:
• a copy of your most recent authorization to work in Canada (i.e. work permit or visitor record)
• employer reference letters for all periods of qualifying work experience you identify in your application
• copies of your T4 tax information slips and your Notice of Assessment (NOA) issued by the Canada Revenue
Agency for the period(s) of work experience you identify in your application (CIC preferred),
OR
• a sufficient combination of other supporting documentation, which could include copies of a record or letter of employment from the employer in Canada, work contracts and pay stubs for the period(s) of work experience you identify in your application.
So it is not mandatory as long as you show enough proof of your employment.
In my case, I sent a copy of my T4 (which was only showing 4 months), contract and a letter of my employment.
:
Yesterday I have posted my application ..
Sent my application today. Thanks everyone(can't mention all your names) for your help. Now on to the waiting game
