Well.... sixteen October 1987 sounds like a wise choice ... should be correct. .. but I remember when year is mentioned and we are limited to 2 words, year should be omitted. But I'm pretty sure you're going to receive mark for it. A bit bizzare but still correct.

How could u chose true. For 1st one . The question was from mid 19th century to 19th century it was fashion.
But in text it was written that people were facinated by that thing. So mention about fashion and no mention of period of time . I mean its true that it might happened in 1850 but no where it is mentioned upto 19th century

How could u chose true. For 1st one . The question was from mid 19th century to 19th century it was fashion.
But in text it was written that people were facinated by that thing. So mention about fashion and no mention of period of time . I mean its true that it might happened in 1850 but no where it is mentioned upto 19th century
19th century starts from 1901-1999.... 1857 was there in the paragraph... so which is mid of 19th century..... this is how I interpreted it....... I am not saying u are wrong and I right....but true seemed more apt to me
