My prints went through this time! Such a relief. I had them mailed to my India address, hopefully I get them in a reasonable amount of time.

Do you have an idea on how long can it take to reach India. I am a bit confused about the "first class " mail used by FBI .

Finger Prints Submitted: 10th March 2016

Credit Card charged: 26th May 2016

Result Received: 4th June 4, 2016, It was shipped to California.

How can I confirm from FBI that they have received my application? Is there any phone number to call them?
And what information do we need to provide?

Hi guys

Just wanted to update here .I received my US PCC mailed from FBI USA to India Delhi in 9 days.The Overall Process took over 3 months but just wanted to update folks the time to reach india was quick within 9 days;

Summary Below:
PCC Document Received at FBI : 7th March 2016
Complete on : 31st May 2016
PCC Received: 9th June 2016

I just called them up and they ensured that the fingerprints were received on June 6th and processing would take approximately 12 weeks.

Folks, can anyone tell me if the FBI letter has any 'sent from' address on the envelope or any other disticntive marks on the envelope? I have asked the FBI to send my police certificates to a friend's address and want to give my friend a heads-up to keep an eye on mails from FBI. I am afraid that if the FBI letter comes unmarked, he may throw it away considering it to be junk. :-[

The envelope is big and it says its from US department of Justice-FBI with their address on it. It has you name on the light cover and has it bold that is personal and confidential, with a warning of recepient should not open if its not addressed to them.
