My wife and I are preparing the sponsorship application. I'm not sure which option I should check here.
I'm in Canada under the student visa. We got married, but we don't live together yet. She lives in Toronto and I live in Ottawa. Because of that, I guess the second option below is the one I should check, right? But, if I'm convoked for an interview, can it happen in Canada?
Or
Although we don't live together yet, should I check the first option below?
[ ] I am currently living in Canada with my sponsor, and I am applying under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class.

You must check the second one. The first option requires you to be living together. Since you're not living together, if you select this option you'll be refused.
If an interivew is required, it will be held outside of Canada. No - it cannot happen in Canada. It will be held in your home country (if required).

I see. Let me provide more details about it. Technically I stay in Ottawa only on weekdays because I'm studying at College, but I'm always at her place on weekends. Also, I have all my documents and bills at her address (driver's licence, vehicle registration, credit card...).
So, I filled all the forms with her address and on the form 5532 I explained that we live together, but I'm in Ottawa during the week because of school.
Also on the form 5669 I put in the addresses history both addresses Ottawa and Toronto.

Apply outland (option 2). We've seen a few other couples like you recently and IRCC has moved to refuse them. I personally wouldn't risk it because it really looks like you're living separately and just spending time on the weekends with her. You're living separately for more than half of each week.
