I just finished a 2 year full time college program and earned a diploma. I am planning to apply for a PGWP.
But, I have 2 questions here.
If I applied for a PGWP, am I allowed to go to the private institution ( DLI # O19361304312) and take a full time program without a study permit!? the course is roughly 2 months .
I have a valid study permit from the college right now and it will be expire on August 31, 2017.
The Course will starts on July 3rd,20017.
Can I extend my study permit and apply for a PGWP at the same time?

no we CAN NOT go back to school after you have apply for a PGWP. your study permit automatically cancel when you apply for a PGWP. you are not allowed to go back to school even if your study permit is still valid
Depends on the program. In IRPA regulations 188(1)c a person could study without a permit if the program is less than 6 months in duration and you will complete it during your authorized period of stay. If your course is only 2 months you should be ok.
188 (1) A foreign national may study in Canada without a study permit
(c) if the duration of their course or program of studies is six months or less and will be completed within the period for their stay authorized upon entry into Canada

Mosor, Thank you for your reply and help. I have been staying in Canada more than 6 months. The quote says "will be completed WITHIN the period for thier stay authorized UPON entry into Canada" So that means Do I have to go outside of Canada and reenter again?

Hi Canadianking. Thank you for your relpy.
If I apply for new study permit am I allowed to go and can I have both PGWP and study Visa at the same time? I am afraid if I applied for Study permit, my PGWC would be cancelled.

There is nothing in the legislation that prevents someone holding both a PGWP and a Study Permit. Your old permit would no longer be valid, but you're free to apply for a new one provided you can meet the criteria for one like having proof of funds, and an acceptance letter. Secondly programs less than 6 months don't need a study permit. His program is only 2.
