Just wanted to share that CIC approved the extension of my spouse's study permit along with my open work permit and daughter's visitor record.
Do they now make study permits valid for three months after expected graduation day? i.e. per college acceptance letter, my spouse graduates April 30th and the permits are all approved until July 30th.
We applied online on Sept 9th and received the CIC approval emails on Oct 6th - so the process took 27 days from start to finish which is not bad at all.

We applied about 1 year before her study permit expires because it was only valid until the validity of her passport. She then renewed her passport and we applied ahead of time.
I am not sure why is your wife's permit expiring March 31st and graduation is April 30th? Was the permit valid only to her passport validity? Was the graduation date mentioned in her acceptance letter as April 30th?
If its because of her passport validity, try and apply now if she had renewed her passport and you will get permits validity of 90 days after graduation date.
