Hi Guys,

I got my bachelor's and Masters evaluated through WES, I got 4 years bachelor's + 1 year PGDM equivalency. Hence I got an evaluation from IQAS for my masters only and got a masters equivalency. What should I upload post ITA, WES and IQAS or IQAS (Master's equivalency)?

Thanks in Advance

Regards,

Can anyone indicate how long it takes to receive the first PR Card after receipt of the COPR letter and providing the necessary photograph. I had received the COPR letter on 10th September 2020.

Hello everyone

Please advice on this one

Asking this for my cousin, he’s applying for WES for his Diploma of Hotel Management from a college in Melbourne, Australia. The college from where he completed his studies in 2008 is closed now. At where he should apply for transcripts

please tell me what can be done in this case?
Please speak to the concerned University regarding the same. The college must be affiliated to some university; you may try contacting them once since it is the university that sends the transcripts for WES and not the college.

Does this sort of maintainance happens before the draw??
Kind of curious to know!

No, there is no such thing. Just a routine maintenance but this one got extended a bit.

Quick question and if anyone has time to respond to it that would be much appreciated: if one has a valid job offer and uses its points, will the employer wait however long it takes for the express entry application to finalize? How does this having a job offer work for someone who is *not* in Canada and hoping to apply to the EE system? Are there any employers who is willing to wait that long for the applicant to finally have her/his PR card ready? Thanks in advance.

I think if you apply with a job offer you take a different path, meaning your processing time is relatively faster as you will be applying for work Visa unlike immigration PR process you should be able to travel and work once your application and Job offer are validated (logically if not as same as, maybe faster than, a vistor visa timeline), . Still my answer is just knowledge not experience i advice you you directly send this question to the concerned immigration office in your potential province.

Please advise do you have ajob offer ? And for self knowledge how do i know it is acceptable to immigration office ? I mean what are the attributes please do i just communicate with an employer and obtain a job offer letter and afterwards submit this letter or are there some governmental criteria?

Thx

Hello Friends

I have a problem. I have created my express entry profile and when I login it then is shows log in as....my name................ here its showing wrong spelling of my name, but in my profile summary and inside my express entry profile, it's showing the right spelling of my name. I have received ITA where it's showing the right spelling of name as. I wonder how it happened. it could be a typo of myself and I also checked everywhere I could not find where I have given the wrong spelling.

I tried to correct it but could not find any option to correct it.
What can I do now?
Thank you very much to everyone for the help in advance.

I know its the wrong thread but i need an urgent answer, please help. My case is kinda peculiar and critical. I need informed and experienced information, please.

I have a one year continuous work experience - February 2019-February 2020 after university education (NOC 4031 Secondary school teacher). That's basic and solid.

However, I want to claim three years work experience through the different jobs I did while studying, during strike actions, forced lockdowns and breaks.

For instance, I worked as a Legal Administrative Assistant (NOC 1242) or Paralegal all through my stay in school whenever there was any break. So here and there, I have 7 months, 6 months, 6 months (all same firm) 3 months (another law firm, same NOC duties). Am I good to go claiming these?

Expert opinions pls, and I am set to enter the pool.

Inland / abroad experience while studying does not count for canadian experience class but does count for FSW
experience count if it complies with the rules (fulltime, paid, and can be prooved etc..).
For example eventhough i counted my recent last 2 years while studying MBA but could not add the very first two while studying BA simply they ask you when you as an applicant were cleared to practice your occupation referring to graduation requirements
Check out below link ( note the difference between FSW and Canadian experience classes)

https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=394&top=29

Also search if your NOC is regulated occupation, it might require a certificate of trade
Check out below link may help

https://www.cicic.ca/938/secondary_school_teachers.canada?id=80
https://www.cicic.ca/938/legal_administrative_assistants.canada?id=561

For the last two links scroll to Para.2 click on regulations and laws

However my knowledge to this is levelled and stemmed as an international Skilled Worker
Try to figure what exactly applies for you

When does the typical express entry draw happen? Is it on Monday or Wednesday? I think the upcoming draw is next week. I will not be able to submit my profile before Monday night (Nov 16th) so I wanted to know whether I will be too late to be considered for the upcoming draw? Please let me know

It varies. You can see past draw dates here and figure out the day of the week.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...file/rounds-invitations/results-previous.html

Your profile needs to be submitted 24 hours before the draw.
