Only situation I can think of is if a woman is pregnant. Otherwise everyone else needs to submit medicals.

Yup. If the woman is pregnant, she can either go ahead with the medicals (by wearing a lead apron during x-ray) OR write a LOE explaining that she would be completing the medicals after she delivers the baby.

I am currently working on Closed Work Permit for IT company for last 8 months in Canada. in the CRS tool - for question 8) Do you have a valid job offer supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (if needed)? .. which option do I select ? (Yes/No)

Hi,

Is it allowed to go for medicals before getting ITA?

There's no notification for medical. The medical results have to be submitted as a part of your application - when submitting your e-APR (upfront medical exam). And yes, everyone has to take the medical exam.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html

If you don't submit your family's (and your) medical exam results with your application, your application will be considered incomplete.

Exceptions might be made in extremely compelling situations but one can't count on it .

Hi,

Is it allowed to go for medicals before getting ITA?

Allowed but absolutely NOT recommend. The expiry date of your PR visa and COPR depends on the expiry of the medical exam. If your medical exam expires when your application of being processed, you morni be asked to get it done again. So, I would recommend doing it as late as possible (a few days before submitting eAPR ).

After ITA how many days it takes to get message for medicals ?

Or how the system works kindly explain.

Thanks!

regarding medical checkup:
I read that UCI is not valid for 1st timer. Does it mean that I bring the ITA when doing the checkup? How do they link with my application?

Question about personal and travel history:
hi may I know what is required to provide in the application? should I just list work history and if I had a few weeks/months taking breaks, can I mention the residence I was having at that period?

and how about this for unemployed period:
"Please provide the name of the company, employer, school, or facility as appropriate. (required) ?"

Dear All, news from my side, we’ve just got my spouse IELTS result which came better than predicted, with that our CRS score is now 447. The only problem is that we are going to loose points beginning of March (birthday), Tough question, do you believe that with 447 we may get an ITA in Feb/19?

Same with me, second attempt but I fall short of .5 from 8777. Need to make it before July.
Btw did your spousal eca points are included in 447?

Hello,

I need your help/ suggestions.
I am looking forward to apply for Express entry. here is my situation -
My wife and I planned to apply for Express entry with my wife being the principal applicant and with me as Co- applicant.
My crs score:

> Overall score: 7.5

> Individual score:
> Listening- 8.5
> Reading- 7
> Writing- 7
> Speaking- 7
My education : Bachelor's degree
Wife's crs score:
> Overall score: 7

> Individual score:
> Listening- 8
> Reading- 7
> Writing- 7
> Speaking- 6
Wife's education: Double Bachelor( as considered by wes/ eca report )

Have got around 15 years of experience in IT sector
My age : 38
Wife's age: 37

The score isn't coming good enough to get an ITA for Express entry

2: I know about PNP however I know that's unpredictable and not clear
3: I am open for QSWP/ Quebec experience class - I am not sure about the points there as I don't have proficiency in French.
4: will my wife/ me should apply for educational course/ student visa?

please advice. I am open for any suggestions.

If your NOC / function / employer does not fall under the LMIA exemption - answer No.
On the other hand, after 1year full time permanent job in Canada you are gonna be able to claim points and fall under CEC.

Have you thought about trying to achieve CLB 9 First language principal applicant? That could add 50 extra points beyond the language points.

Hi,
I received my ECA assessment today. I have a 3 yrs bachelors degree and a 2 yrs masters degree in computer science.

IQAS stated equivalency as:

Bachelors degree compares to completion of 3 yrs bachelors of science.

Masters degree compares to completion of 4 years bachelors of science degree.

Can somebody tell what does it mean? Will I need to select bachelors in the express entry profile or 2 or more certificates, diplomas or degrees?

Thanks in advance.
