Hi! I have an EE question. If for example I worked in Company A for 10months NOC 1111, then started work in Company B for 2years and 2months (and counting) NOC 1112, will my work experience add up to 3 years?

Thanks!

Hello all,

I have a question please... request your response at the earliest please!

Need help based on latest rules/policies of IRCC

After responding to ITA with all the documents, what if my spouse gets pregnant?

When should we inform IRCC and what are the options?

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your answer.
It's not clear where I can submit a new profile. In my profile, the status in front of each category (like personal detail, work history,...) is "transmitted" and I'm only able to view already filled out forms. I have no access to change the information or submit them again.
Would you please give me feedback on that if you have any information?
Thank you!
'Transmitted' means that your profile was successfully updated in the IRCC database. You will find an option that says'Withdraw application' there.

Hi

You don't need to notify IRCC of the pregnancy. Once the child is born, you can submit a case-specific inquiry with a copy of the birth certificate and an update of your proof of funds.

If you plan to land before the child is born then you need to consider whether the airline will allow her to fly or how you will pay medical bills.

Hope that helps.

I am afraid only two years would count. Also, make sure these two years are at least 30hours/week, each week.

This is incorrect. Why do you say only 2 years count? You only need 1-year experience in your primary NOC, the rest can come from other NOC.
I personally had 1,5 years in 1 NOC and 2years in another. Total 3,5 years experience.

regards

TanakaM is right. As long as you have at least 12 months of continuous work experience (under an eligible NOC) in one job, any other work experience can be added up, irrespective of the length of employment of the aforementioned 'any other work experience'.

Hi all,

My wife and kid travelling to Toronto from India for a soft landing. They will stay in Toronto for a week and return back to india. Tickets has been booked with Lufthansa. They have transit in Frankfurt airport during onward and return trip. Once we land in Toronto the immigration officer strikes the visa in our passport with a pen since it is a one time entry visa. I need some help on the following questions

1. During the return trip whether a Airport transit visa is required in Frankfurt?
2. Is the expired/used visa will be fine for the travel?
3. Has any one travelled via Frankfurt recently after short landing?
4. Do the airport authorities in Frankfurt airport check for a visa while we return to india which is our origin country and final destination?

Please help me out. Thanks in advance. Have a good day.

It won't be an issue. They will be boarding a flight to India with Indian passports previous visa doesn't matter.

Thanks for the clarification, I have an understanding that only full years of working experience count towards EE. Thanks for it!

Based on the information I see in the link below, I would strongly recommend applying for a transit Visa -

https://www.germany-visa.org/airport-transit-visa/

People with a valid visa to Canada, US and other countries are not required to apply for a visa. However, the visa will be cancelled at the PoE when they arrive in Canada. When they leave back, they won't have a 'Valid visa' for Canada. They wouldn't be being their PR cards for the next 3 months. COPR is not a travel document or a visa, it is a document to prove your status in Canada . Indians, who usually require a transit Visa, do not need to apply for one if any one of the following applies -

  • holder of a US valid visa
  • holder of a valid or expired non-Schengen country visa issued by the US
  • holders of a valid visa for a Schengen Member State, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Ireland, Japan, Romania or UK
  • Turkish holders of Service and Official passports do NOT require an Airport Transit Visa for Germany
  • Jordanian nationals who hold a visa to Australia, Israel or New Zealand
  • partners (married, common-law or same sex) or child of an EU/EEA/EFTA national and hold a British “Residence Card of a Family Member of an EEA National”
  • holders of Diplomatic Passports
So, from the information that I see here, Indians might need a transit Visa if they don't have a valid 'Visa' for Canada or a PR card .

This is only my opinion .
