Hi Escobar.

thank you so much for replying :)

2) What I meant to ask was that I will be travelling to UK for the first time and I am expecting that I might get an ITA while I am there.

Isn't PCC required for the current Country you are in, irrespective of your stay in that country?

3) By Agents I meant there are consultants in India who charge for expedited service and get the work done within 10-12 working days. They charge around Rs 15000/- for the same.
Wanted to know about any such consultant in UK too. Have found one just now (ukfingerprints.com/uk-police/)

Cheers
PCC is required for only those countries in which you have stayed for 6 months or more since the age of 18. So, if you move to a new country for the first time and you receive ITA within the first 6 months of your stay in that country, then you do not need PCC from that country. For all other countries, you need to obtain PCC.

Sushsmart has answered your first question.

As for agents, I can't emphasize more on this, there are NO agents, NO shortcuts for FBI PCC. If someone in India is asking you 15000 rupees for expedited FBI PCC, they're not credible. Please refer to FBI website to learn more about it, before trusting someone for your PCC.

Cheers.

Hello, I got ITA and I would like to ask some questions.

1. It'll take about 2 more months to get police certificate. Can I take medical and degital photos right now or should I take them closer to the date I submit all the documents?

2. I came to Canada two years ago, and I went back to my home county for two weeks last year. Should I include it to travel history or I don't have to?

Thank you for your help!
(I might ask more questions after…)

Hi everyone,

I got ITA on 4th Jan under CEC category, got my medical done on 5th jan, and AOR on 9th jan.
I was just checking this post, and found out the medical should be non-EDE for CEC applicants, but my medical says EDE.

Would this be an issue? Should I contact the doctor and tell them about this or should I contact CIC?

My application status right now is:

Review of eligibility- Review in Progress
Review of medical results- Not needed at this time

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Hello experts. Please help me on clearing my confusion over declining Provincial Nominee nomination.

I received ITA in 52nd Federal Express entry draw under Canadian Experience class(465 points). I also received 'nomination' from NBPNP.

I want to decline the PNP nomination as I already received ITA. Please advise.

Guys a quick question,
I recently got ITA for EE CEC. For my education, I have only collected points for my highest and latest level of education which was also done in Canada (Masters). But I also have a masters degree and a whole bunch of other degrees I did outside Canada for which I didn't (and couldn't really) claim points. I've only mentioned these in personal history section. Do I need to provide Diploma and Transcript for these non-Canadian education programs as well?

Thanks,
Milad

No, only for the masters for which you're claiming points.

Hey All.
I have 11 months of work experience in US. Then I came to Canada on a study permit for Masters. During the summer break, I went back to US and worked 2 months full time (total 13 mnths). All of these experiences fall under NOC A. Am I eligible for FSW?
The part which is throwing me off is that i worked 2 months while on a study permit in Canada.
Any help will be greatly appreciated and +1. I need to create a profile before Wednesday (possible draw) ;D.

Hello, in my Express entry profile I have put my NOC as 2146(Aeronautical Engineer) but my current job responsibility is for 2132(Mechanical Engineer). Should I change it? Do I have to withdraw my application?

Has anybody here received any job offer from Job bank, it seems it's the way to obtain job offer for nomination but so far I have been unsuccessful.

You can mention it in your EE profile - You have to have one primary NOC and you should have at least one year of full-time (or equivalent), continuous, paid work experience in your primary NOC. So, if both your jobs meet this criteria, then you can make either one of them primary NOC.

Well, no. Job bank registration is just a formality. You don't necessarily need a job offer for securing a provincial nomination. There are several PNPs that do not require you to have a job offer. Go through the link below to learn about the various PN programs available -

What is the confusion, you already have an ITA and don't want to be bonded by an Province, so go ahead with declining the PNP.

Hi guys!

I received ITA on 11 January 2017. I will be submitting all the documents hopefully this week. My question is regarding to the possibility of visiting Canada while my application is under review. It may take some months for CIC to review all (normally 80% of applications in 6 months or less), and I'd like to visit some cities in Canada to get a glimpse of settlement or job possibilities. It's in order to take profit of these months before PR acceptation (fingers crossed).

Any opinion or similar situation experienced? My main concern is due to border issues, I don't want to mess anything just now after all the effort.

Thanks for your help.

Applying for a temporary visa to Canada (such as a visitor's visa) isn't going to affect your PR application IMO. You just have to satisfy the officer that at the end of the authorized stay on the visitor's visa, you will leave Canada.
