Hi experts,
Proof of funds question. Regarding avg. balance for past 6 months, is it ok to have one value specifying avg. balance of past six months? Or, does it have to be show on month to month basis for past 6 months? E.g.
Month 1 = xxx
Month 2 = yyy
And so on...

Either way is fine - All IRCC wants to see is that the funds have been maintained and there is no too much variation.

Need help in understanding the gcms notes little better

Is it safe to get gcms notes through so many sites shared on this forum. They can have all of your personal information and misuse it, only reason I'm thinking on these lines is there is hardly any information on who is running these sites and how much trustworthy they are. I know thousands of people request gcms notes but wanted to understand how people think about misuse of personal information available with them.

You have 2 options.

If you have somebody in Canada who is a citizen or a Permanent Resident, you can apply through them.

Otherwise, you have to go through one of these agencies. So many people are requesting notes and I haven't seen a case where any "reputable" agency has misused the information.

Hi,

I received ITA and am trying to upload docs. I dont see IELTS result sheet requested. Am i still supposed to upload it?

Please upload the IELTS and the ECA report in the Education History section. There is no separate placeholder for these documents.

If I use my WES ECA report number and create a EE profile and subsequently, I get my report upgraded for a new qualification, ca I:

1. Keep using the old ECA report number till my report gets upgraded;

2. Once the report gets upgraded, can I modify my educational history in the EE profile.

Thanks for the suggestions on the above questions in advance.

I have worked for two years after graduating from my BSc, outside Canada. After that, I started studying as MSc and then PhD and have now worked for a bit more than one year after my PhD graduation, again outside Canada. Both of the jobs have been in the same field (same NOC) but are not the same job position of course. Can I count all the three years that I have worked, although there has been a break for studying?
According to what I read on CIC webiste they ask for the following requirements on work experience:
"Skilled work experience:
Your work experience must be:
•at least one year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous full-time or an equal amount in part-time,
•paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships do not count),
•in the same job,
•within the last 10 years, and
•at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC)."

They mention that it should be continuous and in the same job. I can't fully understand this.
- does it have to be continuous for at least one year, or this applies to the whole work experience?
- what is meant exactly by in the same job? Does it mean the same position or the same type of work/NOC?
I would very much appreciate it if anyone could help with this!

Only 1 year must be continuous and in the same job.

Hello All!

If I am looking only at PNPs, do I need to get ECA done for spouse? I mean now since I am not in open pool,10 additional points really do not help much!

10 POINTS is what makes the difference friend

I am confused about one issue regarding my ECA evaluation.

I have completed BBA and MBA from a reputed private university in Bangladesh, my WES evaluation report says my BBA is equivalent of Canadian Bachelor 3 years and my MBA is equivalent of Canadian Bachelor 4 years. My WES report summery says Canadian Bachelor 4 years.

Now I am really confused about my points distribution, from FSW points grid will I get 22 points for 2 degrees or just 21 points for Bachelor only?

If I get only 21 from FSW points grid I am going to loose huge points in CRS distribution which is my greatest concern.

I am desperate for guideline here.

Thanks a lot in advance.
