Hi guys,

First of all congratulations all the senior members and contributors for this enormous wealth of knowledge created in this forum.

I am taking my first steps towards this immigration journey and have a very quick query on WES assessment.

Background -> I am a B.Com graduate and after that I have done PGDM from IMDR Pune (college). IMDR is an autonomous institute and is NOT affiliated to any university and also it is NOT recognized by UGC list that is on WES website, but the program was approved by AICTE and DTE after I passed out. (I attended from 2007-09 but AICTE and DTE approved this course from 2010 Angry)

Query -> While entering my PGDM credential in WES application, what should I select in Institute Type as none of the available values (University edu., State Board - technical, State Board - General Nursing, Professional edu., Secondary edu.) match perfectly with it.

Please guide, Thanks in advance.

Not very sure but I suppose you cannot leave it blank. I suppose you can choose "Professional Education". Anyway, please check with them on this. Below is the link to their contact form.

Man- you have good chances for PNP, based on your score(400+) Ontarios will invite you when they open later this year. All other states don't ask for CRS you can pretty much apply to them and get invited based on your NOC(if it is in their list)
Thanks you kamy for your reply,
I have total 2+ years of experience, i am a network Administrator for almost 1 year now, i haven't seen any IT related demand in Ontario pnp, i have one more question
Is it still possible they will invite me? Do they invite all 400+ or just some from top in queue according to their qouta?

Thanks

There is no "in-demand" occupation list for OINP - HCPS. If you satisfy their criteria, you might likely get a PT.

Even with that 405 CRS score?
Doesn't matter if you have 400 or 475. As long as you have a 400 + score (per the current rules), it is likely that you will get a PT. OINP is NOC agnostic whilst sending out PT NOIs, IMO. Good luck!

I want to know that do we have to apply for OINP or they randomly select the profiles from EE profiles to give them the nomination. Kindly elaborate how the PNP works. Actually I am sitting on CRS score of 475 and still not got the ITA. So I am looking for PNP from any state. My NOC is 0122 bank manager.

Im in desperate need of some help..........

I have applied for PR through CEC and its being processed. But my current permit is probably going to expire before its granted.

I am trying to apply for a BOWP, but not having much luck

I retook the eligibility test and gained a PRC

Created a new CIC account and built a EE profile

I now have buttons on MYCIC account page that are under the heading 'What would you like to do today?'

The first one is Apply for visa, work permit etc

I choose this option, then it prompts me to either enter my PRC or check my eligiblty and apply on line

It doesn't recognize my PRC (same one I used before creating EE profile)....... and when I try the other option the process stalls mid way through and says system unavailable, and has done for 2 weeks

Am I doing something wrong of is the system choked, ive raise a technical issue request but haven't heard anything back yet

Any help or advice would be gratefully received

Ben

OINP sends invite to applicants who have CRS 400 and above to apply for nomination. Currently OINP is on a temporary pause. For more details about PNP, please check this thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/summary-of-eligibility-requirements-for-all-express-entry-pnp-streams-t432937.0.html

Thanks for your reply stanlee. But my confusion still remains. Since their are thousands of applicants in 400 above bracket. So OINP can't send the nomination to everyone. So how do they select the profiles to provide them nomination.

OINP does not give them nomination based on the scores, it is only the invite to apply for nomination. In the past based on the score (400 and above), OINP used to send invite for nomination, which means the applicant has to submit a nomination application with all supporting documents. Based on completeness check and satisfactory verification OINP nominates applicants.

Hello people,

Need your help/advice/suggestion.

is there a thread in this forum that someone can point me to, that will provide a step-by-step instructions of how to apply for Express Entry process(in order).
If here is no thread of that can, could someone who has in-depth understanding of the process, kindly create one and put it as sticky?

I am bit confused as to what would be the first step in applying for the EE and its corresponding steps.
Though website provide instructions to certain extent, i am not entirely convinced as i understand there is lot more required than what is mentioned on the website.

These instruction will be helpful not just to me but many aspirants who are seeking a lucid understanding of the process.

Thank you all for your time. :)
