Can you anser a question of mine please. I have got 2 years and 8 months of work experience before I started my fulltime Masters. During my Masters (2.5 years), I was not working. After completing my Masters, I started working in the same NOC and now I have acquired an experience of 5 months after my Masters. So with this non continous experience will I be able to claim the maximum points of 3 years of foreign work experience. Thanks in advance.

To qualify under FSW, you need only minimum one year continuous experience in an NOC under skill type 0, A or B and since you have continuous 2 years and 8 months of experience in the same NOC, you meet the minimum requirement. Now the question whether non-continuous experience experience will be considered towards total work experience calculation, yes it will.

No, it will not be confusing because of the following reasons
1. On your old passport it would be mentioned 'Extended by the issue of fresh booklet'.
2. New passport would have reference to your old passport number, date and place of issue.
3. While submitting documents, you will have to submit copies of both the passports.

If here is no thread of that can, could someone who has in-depth understanding of the process, kindly create one and put it as sticky?

I am bit confused as to what would be the first step in applying for the EE and its corresponding steps.
Though website provide instructions to certain extent, i am not entirely convinced as i understand there is lot more required than what is mentioned on the website.

These instruction will be helpful not just to me but many aspirants who are seeking a lucid understanding of the process.

POF are required in the following cases.

1. Direct ITA - You will have to submit POF as part of your eAPR.

2. PNP and ITA - You will have to submit it as part of your nomination application to the province. Once the province nominates you and you get an ITA, you will have to submit POF as part of your eAPR.
