My Fiance is applying for Express Entry, can she get money transfer to her account from her parents after she recieves invitation to submit documents from cic
Yes, she can. This will have to be shown as a gift from parents. A Gift Deed will have to be executed wherein it states that her father/mother is gifting their daughter the amount in question for immigratiin purposes. It should clearly state that it is not a loan and it need not be returned. Also attached banks abatements of both the sender and recipient to show that the transfer has been effected.

Even if the above is submitted, sometimes CIC might ask for other documents like salary slips etc depending on a case to case basis.

Hi Guys!

I will be attending the info session in Manila on June 11 for NBPNP and calculated my points. I am just wondering if 70/100 points a good score to receive an ITA for NBPNP? and what is priority 1 and 2?

Heres my breakdown:

Age: 29 = 12points
Education: Bachelors = 21points
Work Exp: 7years = 15points
IELTS: 22points

Total = 70points

My NOC is 6221

Hope to hear some advise guys. Thank you in advance.
Hi,

I read the complete document about NBPNP this morning and 70 points are good to be eligible to apply for NBPNP immigration. This is eligibility criteria which does not guarantee that you will receive a nomination from province. There are various other factors involved to receive a nomination from the province like your consent to live and work in NB, etc. For more details, you may want to go through this link below:

http://www.welcomenb.ca/content/dam/bitp/pdf/ExpressEntryGuide-E.pdf

Its good that you are going to attend their seminar which will help you to understand the program deeply.

Thanks

She has tried to have the dates corrected apparently, but she went to Indian government schools and they're not known for their record keeping, so she's been having trouble there, it seems like. Would supplementary proof work, then?
I think the issue is with the date when the degree was awarded.
Hah.
Yes, supplementary proof or whatever she has on hand is OK, or the examples I previously cited.

Work Exp: 7+years as System Admin

NOC : 2281

IELTS: Planning to write after assessment of my chances (will I require 7 or 8 or 9 depending on my education qualifications) - In addition to education, IELTS plays a very important role in boosting your CRS score. Targetting CLB 9 (LRWS - 8777) will give you a good score.

they pay me salary in cash will it be any problem They agreed to give me salary slips and what are the things I should get from my company (offer, hike etc....) suggestions are required.... - No, it will not be a problem as long as you have necessary documentary evidence to prove your work experience. The documents that you need to consider to have ready are Reference letter, pay slips, work contract, appraisal letters, promotion letters, hike letters, relieving letter etc.

I have only my brother as a family member in canada (both my parents are expired) will it be any consideration, he is on WP (from May 2016) - No.

Hope to hear some advise guys. Thank you in advance.

Even though I have answered your questions, everything comes down to education in your case. As far as I know to apply under FSW you need to have at least Bachelors (completed).

Meanwhile, try these
- You can use Come to Canada Tool to check your eligibility http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/getting-started.asp
- You can check your score using this tool http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

if for example, a person has a job in his country of residence, and was approved PR, how much time he has to land in canada for the very first time?

how much time a person must stay back in canada after landing , in order to get PR status, PR cards etc ?

Once PR status is recieved how long a person can stay out of Canada
OR
if a person has job in his country of residence, and cannot leave the job for say 1 year,
what might be time period a person must stay back in order to retain his PR status ?

Dear Forum Members,

I have gone through the previous posts, and there are a few things that I am still unclear about. Would be most thankful if experienced forum members could clarify. I have an ITA and need to submit documents by Mid June.

1. Is EPF ( Employee provident fund )admissible as POF ?
2. Is PPF admissible as POF ?
3. I have a home loan running with SBI ( outstanding amount INR 10 Lacs ) while the purchase price for the property was INR 35 Lacs. The fact that the loan is a secured one, and the bank holds a mortgage on the property - Do i need to declare this liability in my POF ? If yes, can I declare the property as an asset ? I read somewhere on the forum that CIC wishes to ascertain if any loan has been taken with the purpose of generating funds for Canada Immigration, which is not the case here. My salary account shows EMIs towards this loans - so would it be prudent to not show it ? Also, Do i need to furnish any kind of valuation report to establish the value of the property ?
4. Regarding the 6 months rule - I have some FDs which were created in the last 2 months only, but thats by way of salary / bonus arriving. Wouldnt they count ?

Regards

You are supposed to land in Canada before the expiry date shown on your visa or before the expiry of your medicals, whichever is earlier.

When an immigrant is approved for permanent residence in Canada, they receive a Confirmation of Permanent Residence document. An immigration officer at the port of entry or a CIC office signs and dates this document when permanent residence is finally granted. This document is used by permanent residents to show to provincial and territorial organizations in order to access services. You will get your PR card 3 months after landing.

If you travel outside Canada, the PR card is your proof that you are a permanent resident of Canada. If you leave Canada, you will need this card to re-enter the country on a commercial vehicle, like an airplane, boat, train or bus.

Canadian permanent residents need to show their permanent resident card when travelling to Canada in order to prove their permanent resident status. Permanent residents who do not have a PR card, or who are not carrying their PR card when travelling outside the country, will need to obtain a Permanent Resident Travel Document (PRTD) before returning Canada by air mode in order to comply with eTA requirements.

To maintain your status as a permanent resident, you must live in Canada for at least two years within a five-year period. During this time you must be in Canada physically. The two years need not be continuous.

1. Is EPF ( Employee provident fund )admissible as POF ? - Yes, check this link to know more about the procedure to get PF Balance Certificate and account statement from PF Office - INDIAhttp://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/procedure-to-get-pf-balance-certificate-and-ac-statement-from-pf-office-india-t412640.0.html

2. Is PPF admissible as POF ? - PPF account matures only on the completion of 15 years from the end of the year in which the account was opened. For PPF, no premature closure is allowed, so this does not meet the requirement of CIC, which says that funds should be unencumbered and readily available. The only case where it can be used as proof of funds is by doing a partial withdrawal if you have completed 7 years (from date of account opening). In that case the proceeds which gets transferred to your savings account can be shown as the proof of funds, but not PPF directly.

My salary account shows EMIs towards this loans - so would it be prudent to not show it ? Also, Do i need to furnish any kind of valuation report to establish the value of the property ? - No, you need not declare this in your POF as the bank has a charge/mortgage on your property and will not affect your POF. No need for valuation report as this is no way related to POF.

4. Regarding the 6 months rule - I have some FDs which were created in the last 2 months only, but thats by way of salary / bonus arriving. Wouldnt they count ? - Yes, you can show the FD as POF as the bank statement would also show the source for the same. Keep a Letter of Explanation (LOE) explaining the source of funds. You can also attach the salary slips along with the LOE.

As long as the primary applicant has IELTS and ECA ready and meets the requirement of one of the economic class (FSW/CEC/FST), you can submit your Express Entry profile to enter the pool. With you current score, you should look out for PNPs or LMIA backed job offer, which will add 600 points to your existing score and you will be eligible to receive ITA.

Thank you

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi I am new here , and would like to ask some usual doubts

My breakdown
Education (wes verified)
Bachelors 2008-2011
Masters 2013-2015

Work Experience
2010-2012 - 2 years NOC 2281

Ielts
R-7.5
W-6.5
L-7.5
S-7
Total-108

I made the EE profile and got 391 Points , I understand that I need to pump up my Ielts Score to 8 bands in all to get 453.
I had few peculiar doubts ,
1. I am not currently working (not in my hand mate ;no real jobs in India unfortunately) Is it necessary to be working while applying for EE ?
If i start working now , in some other field like a consultant which is different from my original NOC code 2281 would they (CIC) count as working ?

2.Once a person gets a ITA notification in EE profile , whats the procedure ? do we have to send the documents of what all they ask somewhere to Canada to certain province or an embassy ,,, or how does it work? What is an AOR i keep hearing this term without knowing ?

3.I would like your advice on how to pump up score (No for French , No for Spouse)
4. Any reasonable chance of score drop below 420 or nearby in near future ?

I would like to thank all readers and those who would be answering in advance for their valuable time and patience .
