I heard ECA differs with institutions. Some evaluate "10+2+3+2" as Bachelors only while some as 1 year masters. Please guide me which institution is generous. I have completed masters from Nepal and completed 3 semesters as PhD in Korea (incomplete yet )
What to choose..
1. World Education Services (WES)
2. Comparative Education Service (CES)
3. International Credential Assessment of Canada (ICAS)
4. International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS)
5. International Credential Evaluation Service (ICES)
Can incomplete 3 semesters as PhD be evaluated??
SUGGEST ME
Hi,

Go to each site and see if they have an free evaluation tool. This will tell you what you masters is equivalent to. WES is the most popular so try this tool:
https://applications.wes.org/ca/degree-equivalency-tool/

You won't get anything for an uncompleted degree.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:
Does that mean I can create EE profile without having any funds in banks
Yes, but you need to have a clear plan as to how you are going to get the funds to show as POF.

Hi, everyone!
I just wonder what happens after my profile application status is transmitted ( it was done on the 11th of February). Within which period of time will I be informed ( and how exactly ) whether I am linked to the EE pool or I've been found to be ineligible?
I am sure it was mentioned that the assessment of the issue mentioned should be given in 5 days...
Thanks in advance:)

Thankyou, well I have lent cash to my friends and relatives. So Can i open EE profile and Collect my cash and fix deposit it. Doesnt That look suspicious? I have my bank account in a co-operative bank only.

Hello friends
I got ITA yesterday but I am confused about medicals.
Are medical exams done before submitting or after submitting PR application as there is a column of upload form in medical column.
If before, what's the process?

Before submission of application. You need to check list of physicians/centres in your area where you can get medicals done, they will give you a receipt with a number, you need to enter that receipt number and may be scan the receipt.

Doctor will send your reports to the CIC directly.

Read the section that says medicals:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/applications-received-on-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html

You must do them upfront as advised.

It's fine but remember you will need to show your current and average 6 month balance and explain source of your funds if there is a big difference.

So I would advise you start getting your money back asap.

Hey

So they asked for my last 10 years of travelling history. I did mention all of them. But I had few transit visas for one day. Should I mention them as well?

Hi,

Yes, you can and just put transit as the reason for travel.

Also,

I have applied for both my spouse and I. Our points are sufficient and above the threshold. I did not claim points for her education as WES is required and takes a long time and money to get it. On her education I said no education but on her personal background info I said she did her education. Now, should I write a letter on LOE explaining it or should I keep it as it is? Let me know please

This is perfectly fine. No need to explain anything.

All the best.

It's all on the CIC site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

But...

(Please note that this info does not apply to the Federal Skilled Trades Program)

1) Determine your eligibility by doing this CIC quiz http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.

How does CLB match back to the language tests? That info is here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp

3) Get your qualifications assessed by doing an Education Credential Assessment. Details here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

4) Determine the code that best applies to you on the National Occupation Classification (NOC) list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.

5) When you have those in hand you create your express entry profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng

You'll be given points based on your age, education, number of years work experience, and language skills. The points system is detailed here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

You'll be in a pool with thousands of other applicants http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/pool.asp

Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:

a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp

b) Identify how you will provide proof of funds http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

c) check out what is required for the police certificates http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

d) find out how long it takes to get a date for the medical exam. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.

f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.
...........
Is my spouse supposed to do the exam and also the education evaluation
