We need PCC for any countries we have lived for 6 months and above.
Canada is different. Based on what other people are posting in this thread, I think they will request you if they need PCC from Canada. Anybody, please correct me if I am wrong.
I think you are correct... I hv just gone thru CIC site..I see similar details as wat you mentioned....
Thanks for your reply Sam!

Yes, Sammoe is right. For Canada you need a criminal record check and the visa office will let you know if it is needed. If yes then you can get the instructions from the RCMP website.

Similar case with me - I registered for my Permanent Residence RPO i.e. Kolkata but when I continued the application I entered both present and permanent address as different and in the next step, it mentioned - You have registered under RPO xxx but your present residential address lies within the jurisdiction of RPO yyy. The registration and present residential address should be with the same RPO.
What did you do finally? I was thinking mentioning both present & permanent address the same i.e my permanent address - is it a good option?
Create a new account and change the RPO. I did this so that I can choose one of the PSKs in my current place of residence.
Hey everyone,
Sorry for being offline for so long. Have been busy in personal stuff. Currently busy too. I have updated the country of residence who have personally messaged me. I will be loggin in every now and then, not sure when will I be able to login daily, but will try my best.

Ash
Off late it has been noticed that people aren't getting Ghost Emails for changes in status.
Believe it is better to check CIC regularly.

Yes even I saw that, gives hope but this hope makes the way forward tough. So I am ready to wait provided the end result is positive. Cheers
Hi guys,
My Company no longer issue reference letter to contractors. So I asked my manager and she wrote one for me and submitted the same in my PR application but it is not on Company's letter head but have all the details as per CIC requirement. I do have the old reference letter on company's letter head which I got for my PNP application but it does not have my contract end date.
Do you suggest I should raise a CSE and submit the old one too explaining the situation in LOE ?
Please help.
Yes and do that right away. Explain the same thing in LOE. Also attach any other proof like TDS forms, ITR, salary slip etc.

Also, can you please help me how to raise a CSE ?
