Yes, I understood it's a switch to IP - it's great! But when it changes, is it safe to assume eligibility has been Passed? I'm guessing the steps won't be in tandem but as a consequent 'next step' - correct?
Without notes, hard to say.
It is just guessing game. But with November applicants, there is high probability that that IP will be followed with PPR fast.
And they do several things at the same time. So security checks are running paralel to all other checks.
The main change I observed is previously IP was the last step of BG change. So we called it BG IP. But now it is first step of final decision so we can call it AIP Application in prigress.

I would strongly recommend that you apply for a BOWP in May (I hope it doesn't take that long for you to get a PR but God forbid, if it does, then you might be safe if you have your BOWP with you).
