Hi Guys I am a Dec 1 aor applicant. Please see my signature below. No additional document requests before I got BCIP on Jan 22 quite unexpectedly (I am not sure it's the 1st or 2nd BCIP cause I didn't check my account so often in Dec). The reason for "unexpectedly" is that I was told such BCIP was really very fast for a Dec applicant. I was even told that such quick BCIP probably means that I am going through security screening conducted by CIC, which made me very anxious. Is it true about that? No updates after BCIP till now.

Got an update from CIC. They need additional documents for our application.

1. Additional Family Info IMM5406: A separate and newly completed Additional Family Information form (IMM5406) bearing original signatures for PA. This must be received at this office by: 2017/02/14

2. Proof of Relationship: Document proving your relationship with your family member. You have indicated that you have a Canadian-born son. Please provide proof of relationship and proof of Citizenship. This must be received at this office by: 2017/02/14

Will complete the forms and send it out at the earliest. Don't know if it is good or bad but at least they are working on the file.

i wonder why CIC doesn't request all documents at once. Earlier they requested Sch A now they need all of these documents. May be they doesn't check the whole apllication at once.

Checking is sequential... as soon as they get something they need verification they'll ask for a document, then continue. Unfortunately they don't go through the whole file and ask for everything at the same time.

that just the delays the application. Nevermind, as long as they are working on it, it's a good sign.

CEC applicants getting updates today hope i get one too.

Yes, I got the same email. All I did was log in so that the job bank account wouldn't expire
