Plan to land in feb 2011, though havnt decided Vancouver or Toronto, R&D is on.

@ Dreamscanada: There is a Canadian International Freight Forwarder’s association known as CIFFA. One needs to be registered there… Likewise Doctor, Nurse or Teachers the Shipping/Logistics/MTO personnel is not a licensed job, but having registered with CIFFA one has edge over others.
Since this topic is devoted to survival jobs, I will say that it still exists in Toronto and GTA. November/ December is festive season here in Canada and retail jobs are east to get.
For regular jobs November, Dec is slowdown. Employers usually start hiring in Jan/ Feb.
