Enough survival jobs in Toronto & GTA

There are enough survival jobs in Toronto & GTA. Reasonable earnings from it and would not be any problem in paying for rent, food and bills.
Sorry, can't live like a king with that but is enough to keep floating and find jobs in your area of occupation or study.

I completely agree with him on this point and as far as I have seen so far. Keep your attitude positive and things will be fine

Just a question, does this part-time jobs, do they give employment letter, even if the job is 3 or 6 months???

I am asking because most of the big companys there need a canadian experience right?

Because I am not in favor of that since you are a newcomer, and applying for a job, they will ask or a canadian experience???

So if anybody have done part-time did you get an employment letter.

Most employers would provide u with a ref letter, even for part-time & voluntary work.

MAXIM placement room no 209 ( 1st floor) is in Malton ( Mississauga) in near WESTWOOD MALL towards KFC outlet. Run by a lady Shenaz, she has plenty of factory and storage jobs. Good thing is that she makes up to pick up and drop from the job, new immigrants need it since they have no car and even find difficult to travel. These jobs are mostly night time jobs and in night no public transit is there. Work is mostly in Mississauga / Brampton side.
I feel she charges commission on a higher rate and must be talked to reduce it. I will write her phone number next time after finding.
So land, next day apply for SIN card, open bank account and go to people like this, work & earn and then keep posting for regular jobs in your field.

I had talk with Mrs. Shenaz owner of MAXIM Placement & her husband Mr. Imtiaz who is lawyer, they have arrangement of jobs with lots of factories and storage. If anyone is interested then Mrs Shenaz can be contacted at 905-293-9675. I feel she should not be disturbed midnight. See the local Canadian time ( Toronto) to call her at office timings only i.e 10 am -5 pm. Call her only after you have landed in Canada, she had specifically told dont call from your own country. She asks to fill up a from ( resume) for SIN card copy.
So survival jobs are here, unlike USA economy, Canadian economy is recovering from recession. In future there would be more opportunity.
If you are landing in Toronto, you dont have to worry about finishing savings without work. You will not be jobless for more than 5-6 days.
