EE + Ontario Nomination

If I am able to get Ontario nomination for Express Entry, do I still need job offer / register with job bank?

Also, if with Ontario nomination, do I update the EE profile (after I get the nomination code) or do I create a new one?

You don't need job offer but you'll need to register with Job Bank to activate your profile (you can't get an Ontario invitation without an active EE profile).

An Ontario nomination will directly land in your EE profile after they receive and scrutinize your application and give a positive response on that front.

For all of this to happen, you need a CRS of 400+, at least a Canadian Bachelors (or equivalent ECA) and an invitation from Ontario in your EE profile. Ontario has slowed down/stopped sending invitations.
