EE + Ontario Provincial Nomination

I am curious about the process of Express Entry combined with the Ontario nomination.

It says you need to create a profile (with 400+ score) to be potentially invited for Ontario nomination.
After you apply and get your Ontario nomination certificate / number, do you then edit your previously created profile or do you create a new one?

The 600 points you claimed from PNP nomination will be automatically added to your existing EE profile.
