No I am very confused shall I apply for Ontario or not as I have been told that their processing time is 8months and that you need to pay 1500 CAD and then wait for 8months to know whether I will be accepted or not and if at the end of 8 months they reject my application I also end up loosing 1500 CAD.
If you are looking for a direct ITA instead of the PNP route, then you will have to improve your scores. Looking at the current trend, it should be at least 460. As mentioned by garry gill, the best way to improve your scores is by getting CLB 9 and above. You can input different IELTS values in the calculator below and see how it impacts your overall CRS score.

The ways in which you can improve your CRS score to get direct ITA are given below.
- Improve your IELTS score
- If you are married, you can get ECA and IELTS done for your spouse as well (max you can get here is 30 points - 10 and 20 respectively)
- If you know French, get TEF done.
- You can get 600 points added to your CRS, if you have an LMIA backed job offer
If none of the above works to improve your score, there will be no other way than to take the PNP route and the easier one would be OINP, but yes, there is a cost of CAD 1500 attached to it.
My Score is 450 and had applied for OINP as well, but didn't receive any response till now. Is there any mail/notification sent by them if your profile is not selected.

When was your application received by OINP? In your courier tracking you will find the name and signature of the person who would have received your package in behalf of OINP. Based on the current trend, you you can expect to receive an AOR (Letter of Acknowledgement) only after 70-90 days along with receipt for payment of CAD 1500.

ideally you must set this up from scratch - new gc key and new profile -
prior to that change email in job bank - then deactivate - once new profile is on - resync it with new email and re-register
I was at 401! Received Ontario invitation but couldn't accept it as my work experience isn't during last 5 years (Ontario accepts work experience done in the past 5 years)!
Had to take IELTS 3 times in 5 month and finally nailed it! My score improved to 465 and I received ITA the same day that I updated my profile with my IELTS scores. You will make it if you don't give up!
Good luck
