ECA from University of Toronto Comparative Education Service (CES) - My Experience

Hi All.

I have bachelor of engg from anna univ and MBA from Madras univ.
I want to get MBA assessed as a two year masters program to get a decent crs score.
Does CES consider MBA from Madras univ as a two year masters program?
Pls help.

I'm quite confused between going to IQAS and ces.

Did you clear your confusion? what you opted?

Same here.... it has been almost two months since I submitted my application.

My timeline:

• Started Feb 20, 2019
• Submitted Feb 21, 2019
• Current at 2. Transcript(s) Received since Mar 9, 2019, no any update after that.

However i queried how long will it take to complete the assessment. A standard response was received that it will take 12 weeks from the receipt of degrees (if they are accepted). I am looking around July time to receive update.

having said that my spouse received general and immigration assessment just under 5 weeks, not sure whats the criteria.

Hi, I think the result is very depends on the school. I don’t think anyone’s result can be a reference to someone unless they were studied in the same school. For my case the degree was matched, it is bachelor degree.

It’s going to be 12 weeks from the day your degrees were received only if the degrees are accepted.

My degrees were received on 11 April and I am waiting

Hi,
I heard from one of my friends that MBA from univ of madras is considered as masters by CES and IQAS. But comparatively, IQAS takes a longer time.
I've applied for ECA at CES and mailed the transcripts from Univ today.

Could you guide me the step by step procedure . i have done my Mba from Pune University & i need to know do we need to send the transcript or can i send the marksheet & Degree ceryificates only .

Attested photocopy of marksheets are called transcripts.

I sent the below two documents for each credential to CES in a sealed envelope -

1) Attested photocopy of marksheets
2) Attested photocopy of degree certificate

I am confused between transcipt & marksheet .
I have my marksheet with me attested , but there is another option to apply for transcript from university .
do we need to send marksheet or transcript .
