i have submit my PP in abudhabi VO on 1 Dec.its being 24 days now.no updates.
only ECAS change to descion made since Satarday.
..as per there email they finalize applicaiton in 10 working days.
We had faced the same situation, but later we collected our passports directly from embassy abu dhabi. U can enquire to london office with urgent mentioned in subject line. Abu dhabi people are little lag in our experience.

i guess london office is closed for xmas and new year vacation.i can wait for JAN first week for any information from abudhabi VO.
yes it looks on first look in abudhabi canadian embassy they are very slow.
Anyone from this forum who experienced MEDICALS RESULTS NOT RECEIVED YET BY THE VISA OFFICE though Clinic confirmed that it has already been submitted/uploaded? Actually we are two. We both had our medicals at the Dubai London - Umm Suquem in November. Until now no ECAS 3rd line yet and my VO sent me an email that my medical is still pending. anyone from here who has/had the same issue? Pls share. Thanks

i have asked them that too. but they said, once its uploaded, its already there. no way to delete then re-upload,, nor add files.
I really cant track whats the real issue of VO not seeing my results..

my understanding is that the medical results that the clinic uploads are verified by another department of central health and cleared before it appears as 'results received by cic'

I have received my PER email from CIC on 30th Sep 2014. My newborn baby was born on 30th Oct 2014. I have already sent the birth certificate and passport copies to the visa office through the online form and received a reply that their mailbox is full. Is it advisable to send the docs through postal mail as well or would they have received the docs through email.

I will be landing Canada next week and I have issue with proof of funds.
No one one in UAE(banks and exchange house) are issuing travelers chq and DD in Canadian dollars.
I am Carrying currency currency (cash) approx $ CAD 10000.
Since I have to show POF around 22k.
Please advise on balance amount.

I was checking "http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp#u" link and found that the FSW applications are being sent to Abu Dhabi office for UAE applicants. Earlier it was London, so does it mean that CIC is trying to speed up the process by assigning local VO?
