Need urgent help!
I will be landing Canada next week and I have issue with proof of funds.
No one one in UAE(banks and exchange house) are issuing travelers chq and DD in Canadian dollars.
I am Carrying currency currency (cash) approx $ CAD 10000.
Since I have to show POF around 22k.
Please advise on balance amount.
Which bank do you have your account with? You can ask them to issue you a DD payable in the province where you intend to land in Canada and subsequently open an account. Alternatively, try to contact the Scotiabank rep office in DIFC (contact details can be taken from their website). They can help you set up the account and advise you on how to transfer the money in to this account.

they replied me as below
" Thank you for your email.
Your application is currently in a queue awaiting review. Should any further information or documentation be required we will contact you.
Kind Regards, "
Can you please advise what they mean by this as PCC,RPRF,Medicals,PPR1 and sch A form all submitted back on 10th nov-2014 and medicals updated on ecas on 4th nov-2014.
What they mean by Review after all is done.Is this normal because its almost 2 months since medicals and RPRF fees.

dont worry soon u will receive PPR2. things got delayed due to christmas, boxing day and new year. Jan 2015 will surely bring good news for You. Keep your fingers crossed.

I just want to ask my case. my wife's trying to get me in her place in Canada, recently embassy in Canada reply that my wife met all the requirements and the embassy sent all the documents in manila office (Canada embassy) but my problem im not leaving in
Philippines currently im here in Dubai working as OFW. What I can do to my case do i need to wait their response or i can send a request letter if they can able to send here in dubai for their screening of my application.

Why she'd mentioned your Philippines address in her application, if you are employed in UAE?
Either she needs to inform CIC about this change of address or if you have already received email from CIC to send your own application kit to them then write your current address.
