Done with 17 working days ! Still under processing !!

I applied on 27th Nov under general category from VFS Bangalore. File reached on 28th Nov and its under processing from then on.

Sent an email too after 15 working days. But no reply. Don't understand wats happening ! Are they short of staff or forgotten that we've all applied for the Jan 2013 intake !!!

its really weird......one of my friend applied on dec. 12(University category) at VFS Bangalore got his passport with Visa.....Me also applied in University category on November 30 still under processing....

moreova classes going to start on 7jan n 2mrw z the last working day of this week nin next week they gonna have 2 holidays n only 3 working days....dunno wats happeining??

@kaur randhay They update the site around 11:30 in the morning and around 5:00 in the evening. I applied on 30th Nov and mine is still "under processing" as of now.

You never know. Taking a long time may mean background checks and other things too. So you can never say. They usually hire an external company for background checks and so until they get back to the CHC with all the verification check results, the file would be kept under hold. So thats how the processing time keeps increasing.

No one can exactly predict how they work and about their work culture as its highly secretive. But I don't understand, in them sending the visa after the classes have started. They clearly should give first preference to students !
