My case is quite unusual here. I got married last year but for some reason I had to give divorce to my husband. During our marriage my husband included me in his PR. (he was the primary applicant). Later, in this year, I received an email from him to get my medical done for the PR. However, since I was on the verge of giving him divorce, I didn't go for the medical. Since he is already a green card holder in USA, he might not bother informing IRCC about the divorce and ask them to remove me from the application. In this case, what should I do?
Should I inform IRCC about it and ask me to remove from the application?
Note: I do not have any contact with my ex husband.
We are legally divorced. But my question is, should I inform IRCC about our divorce to remove me from the application, since my ex husband might not bother informing IRCC about it since he already has green card in the USA.
Hi, I have already contacted ircc through web form with my divorce certificate. But they told me I am not my ex husband’s representative hence they will not provide me with any info. In this case what should I do? My only concern is to know whether I’m eligible to apply for student visa.
You did all you could. Since his application cannot go forward without your medical, he will eventually be notified of this and then explicitly remove you from the application. You should be fine applying for student visa.

Hello, I’m seeking another expert opinion. I contacted ircc again even though they had said that I’m not the representative. Anyway this time they said, I don’t have any application in process and the info that I provided will not be added to my file. I know what they are trying to say, but just wanted to get your opinion, it means I can apply student visa without any doubt right ?
