My son is a Canadian citizen by birth and we have provided his details when we applied for Permanent Residence. I understand that as he already a citizen, he won't require a VISA to enter Canada along with us. Now the question is, still do we need to send a photo copy of his canadian passport along with our passports to Detroit where they issue the VISA for me and my wife ?

I have an urgent question, I would like to go in person to detroit for my CPR card however i wish to go to United states from there. Could you kindly tell me how much time do you have to go back to the canadian border and get your CPR stamp and sign.
This is urgent so please let me know the answer as soon as possible.
I sent my passport to Detroit last october 22 and i didnt include a return prepaid envelope. DO u think how long does it take for them to stamp the visa in my passport and send it back to me.?How are they gonna send it to me since i didnt include a prepaid return envelope? im so worried now. Do i have to send them now a prepaid return envelope? What do u think or is it too late now? if i send now, does it cause confusion for the officer? please help me.
I need to mail my passport to Detroit. In the letter I received it say I am to follow the link in the letter to get the size of my photos, and mailing details. The thing is there is no link in the letter. Was there a link in yours? If not can you tell me where I can find that information.
Just want to find out how everyone is doing with their PPR timeline.
For my case:
PPR Request: Oct 26, 2012
Copy of Passport sent: Oct 31st, 2012 to Detroit via Xpresspost courier
Delivery confirmed: Nov 6th, 2012
I hope nothing goes wrong and I hear back within the next two weeks. If there are people in this forum who are following the similar processing timeline as me, please share your details.
I have sent the passport to Detroit for getting Canada stamps today 11/13/2012 which will reach them on 11/15/2012 .. So I am assuming another 2-3 weeks and maybe a little more due to thanksgiving ..
I sent mine to Windsor by Canada Post Xpresspost to Windsor POBOX. I sent it on Saturday (delivery was to be expected on Tuesday) - but nothing yet. I am now starting to worry.
Canada Post told me Canada Post is not considered a commerical courier and they can drop it at the POBOX.
