I was reading this Determine your eligibility-Canadian Experience Class link, and a part of the requirement is :

"You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week."

From the above statement, 12 months (i.e. 52 weeks) at 30 hrs/week would be a total of 1560 hrs in 12 months

Suppose I was living and working full time in Canada for 10.5 months (i.e. 42 weeks) at 56 hrs/week (i.e. a total of 2352 hrs) would be able to claim that I (more than) did the equivalent of a 12 months full-time work in Canada and as such I would be eligible to apply for PR under Canadian Experience Class?

Unfortunately you don't qualify. Having the equivalent of 12 months of work won't be accepted. You must complete 12 actual months of work to qualify.

Was hoping you wouldn't say that.....
