Dependent child application 2024 - Is the IRCC screwed up or just me?

Hi @armoured, for forms IMM5406 and IMM5669, I am planning to skip adding details for my wife and me since the form asks Principal Applicant (daughter) to fill out this form for yourself and on behalf of any of your family members 18 years of age or older who are not already Canadian citizens or permanent residents.

Since my wife and I are already Permanent Residents of Canada, our details would not be needed in this form. I will also add this in the LoE. Does that seem correct?

in above point asking to minor weather any of family member who are not pr or citizen so it will be not applicable?? I am in same situation

Did you get a mail that application is accepted? For me also the status shows as submitted on platform but received 2 emails in 2 months:

1. Acceptance of application
2. Medical check up notification

Did you get any of these?

I received only 1 mail 2.5 months Back
That" ircc recived your application they send me uci and application no in that mail also"

Since then no message and not I am able to track the application

Not on portal not on gc key

1. First submission: 24th August 2024
2. First IRCC email highlighting error: 1st October 2024
3. Error correction from my side: 3rd October 2024
4. Mail from IRCC to complete medical test: 13th December 2024

No, portal just shows submitted. No status update there. What is your timeline?

Got mail of uci no and application no and message eof application recived on 11 nov 2024
Then no update now

I think its delayed by just a couple of weeks. It took me 10 weeks from submission to medical notification. You are at around 12 weeks now. This delay might be due to the holiday season. I would wait for a week more and then give them a call to check.

This message is in a PDF and the webform hyperlink is not working. Can someone help me with the webform where I need to inform that the principal applicant is in Canada?

I'd suggest a regular webform AND call IRCC. It may take some time.

You might also try other software to see if the link might work in those.
