I am bit confused about selecting right form for sponsorship evaluation. I have Canada PR, living in Australia (Indian in PR) right now, moving to Canada next week. I want to sponsor my wife and daughter. I need to use form IMM 5481 or form Financial Evaluation form (IMM 1283)?
I have an offer in hand and will start to work from day one, so I really need to provide this IMM 1283?
I need to prove that I have earned more than minimum fund required for family of 3 in past 12 months, but it does not mean that I have to have that 32,000 CAD readily available in my bank account now? Please correct me if I am wrong
If you are sponsoring a spouse with no dependents or a spouse with dependent(s) that have no dependents of their own you need to fill out the sponsorship evaluation form.
If you are sponsoring a spouse with dependent(s) that has a dependent of their own (i.e. grandchildren) you will need to fill out the financial evaluation form.
Sponsorships that involve a spouse and/or dependent children are exempt from financial requirements (LICO).
Still, with a child, I am sure CIC will want to know that you are capable of supporting them (I'm talking about a dependent child). Being unemployed would make it hard to meet your obligations as the sponsor. So, even though there is no financial requirement, I think there is in a way...

Since you are sponsoring your wife and daughter, you most likely have entered "2" in box 3 of IMM 0008 form in the Application Details section, therefore no need to list your wife's name in 6a. of IMM 5481. That box is reserved when a spouse is not the principal applicant or is not part of the application for PR.
