@immigration 1. I have same situation as of you. DM changed back to IP. They requested me for Medical reassessment of my spouse few weeks ago which was due in October 1st week.
Because they did not send PPR for two months to anyone in the month of August and September my medical got expired and now they have to reassess my medical again. Due to their unpredictable and unreliable process we have to wait for another few months i guess.
Hi umar .. Yeah I have the same story . I am the Manitoba applicant .. My wife is in pakistan they have asked for my wife re-medical which she did just a week ago through IOM. I was in canada but right now just visiting family for vacations. My medical is also about to expire. They have not asked for my medicals yet. I donot know how long it will take as I am thinking to wait here till we get ppr and take my family with me this time .. Please let me know if you have any info or get any update .
I wonder that myself.... I am scared because of him right now. ( I am from a visa exempt country by the way) I have seen cases where people got dm before ppr... Also, why would they reject you, even though you know you have no criminal record and are fine medically?
@ Peter 372. Did you go through same medical reassessment process or it was straight forward for you. My bad I should not have said straight forward when it comes to CIC. lol. Congrats though and hope you won't see them again in few years time
@ Florenca. She is outside of Canada. I am assuming they have already requested your medical reassessment without you knowing. This is normal for candidates from inside Canada
@ Immigration 1 @ As you were inside Canada, so they will not ask for your medical reassessment through you. They will directly request it from the health branch unless there was any medical condition disclosed in last exam

Very rude of that person saying someone is rejected...
We live inside Canada , so it's possible to have an extension for our medical (we will see what happens) usually they ask applicant outside Canada to redo it

I did not receive medical reassessment. And yes they are busy I guess because I have not received any reply for my application( I sent 5-6 email in 3 months & received one reply saying someone ll contact). And yes I received DM before 3 month (last week of July I think; but I remember waiting for PPR from 5th Aug).
