I am sponsoring my parents, and in online status checker under Sponsorship Application it says "Decision made". When I click on it, it says "We sent you a letter on February 20, 2014 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us." I have not received anything. I called them earlier this week, and they said it's in process and there were no decisions or letters sent, and that I should not call them for another month.

What do I do now??? I am worried there may be a letter requesting further actions, and the case can be thrown out if I do not send a response by the deadline.

I'm on the same boat toronto_dun. I sponsored my wife and the CPC said that they sent me a letter on February 28, 2014. But still I'm waiting for it. Please let us know whenever you get the letter.

Dears seniors, can you please tell us regarding the time the letter may take to get into our hand?

regards,
humber

I got my letter today!

Still nothing for me :-(. I'll call them again tomorrow, I guess.

What does your online status say for sponsor application and for PR application for sponsored person? Mine says "Decision made" for sponsored, and sponsored person and "Application received" for the sponsored person.

Oh, and what did the letter say?

Dont forget that if you included email address in your application, you will receive through email and they will not send letter in regular mail.

I did include email but have not received anything from them via email :-(. In fact, I have never received any emails from them...

It's possible it went into your spam inbox? If you don't get a letter soon, call and ask the call centre agent to confirm your email address? I got an email for sponsorship approval but my ECAS still says 'decision made', with letter sent and wait a couple days for mail delivery.

Just called them again - they claim nothing was sent. Checked address and email on file, and everything is correct. Checked all my email for the alst 3 month - nothing from them, including in spam.

I guess I can only wait at this point.

Sponsor: Decision Made
Applicant:Application Received
I received mine by e-mail, says : Your have met the requirements for eligibility to Sponsor.Acoordingly, the Application for Permanent Residency has been sent to VISA Office abroad for further processing.
This VISA Office was chosen based on your relatives home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Act.

If you included an email address with your application you will NOT receive any paper correspondence from CIC. Once the sponsor is 'approved' the sponsor will not longer receive any information regarding the application, unless the applicants email is also the same.

For those of you who received SA via email, do not wait for a paper letter in the mail, it will not be forthcoming. For those who have yet to get the SA letter, but the eCas shows a decision made, continue to call CIC to ask what the results are. Given enough time, they will email you again.

Thanks, I will have to watch my wife's e-mail closer now.

Hi Edgehead78

this may not always be the same. Example- my case. Instead of sending me an email, they sent me a letter.
