In most cases that is the norm. Eligibility and Criminality should have been passed before SS is started.

Regular security does not mean that both eligibility and criminality is passed. In my case the criminality is not passed as yet.

I took upfront medicals in october and applied on 14th dec. My medical status showed Passed on 15th January till today. But today I received a new Medical Request with an IME number.
Anyone experienced this too?

Medicals are valid for 1year from the date they were done. Guess your medicals are expiring soon hence the request for remeds.

i know someone who got the remed request a bit early..
PPR is very close...

We finally received PPR from LVO.. We are going to submit the passports on Sunday.. wishing all Dec applicants best of luck.. it does work out at the end!

AOR Dec 27 2017 and no update on file since.

Sent a mail and was informed file transferred to a special unit.

Its been more like a torture checking inbox for email from IRCC.

At what point should one loose hope on the application? Its really torturing and psychological even for a clean application.

What can one do in these dying period to keep hope alive as nothing has moved on file since 27 Feb 2018

Someone told me i should not raise a GCMS note as it may delay the application (i do not know if this is true). However, i sent a CSE mail and got the response that my file has been transferred to a special unit (but i do not know the special unit). I sent a mail yesterday requesting for the nature of the special case but no response yet.

Its really frustrating and endless waiting.............................

Gcms notes dont delay your application.
